We were going to take a break in podcasting for the month of June - but after recent events we have decided to use our platform to amplify black voices and share black cannabusinesses. We are kicking off the new season with a Raffle for Last Prisoner Project, and organization dedicated to getting cannabis prisoners out and back into society.
Enter the raffle (tickets are just $1) but clicking here >>>
So we interview Sarah Gersten, the executive director of the Last Prisoner Project to dig deep, see where your money goes when you donate, and learn about everything they do. We also go over non-monetary ways to help the cause.

This week Casey Jones sat down with Dan Herrer, son of famed cannabis enthusiast and activist Jack Herer. Dan saw his father's voice growing silent after his passing, and decided to continue his message. Jack once said, “I'm not saying that hemp is going to save the world, but it's the only thing that can” - and his son Dan realized that this message is more important now than ever.
You may have smoked Jack Herer, but it's time to learn why and how he made such a big impact on the industry!

Dr. Lewis Jassey is a pediatrician who comes to us today, amidst this unprecedented health crisis in the world, with over 25 years of experience. He has run a practice of over 15,000 patients in the past, been on staff at 5 major hospitals, and has lectured nationally for pharmaceuticals and pharmacogenetics. He has appeared many times on national TV & radio shows before, and he even authored the well-known book called “The Newborn Sleep Book”, where he shares his full proof method of getting children to sleep through the night. So needless to say, he comes to us today with a wealth of medical experience.
Dr. Lewis is now using his skills and experience to help patients get their medical marijuana cards through telemedicine (or video conferencing). He believes that patients that are immunocompromised or even just busy should not be forced to leave the house (especially during the COVID-19 pandemic) to get medicine that helps them live a normal life. Learn more in our interview below.
If you are suffering and in need of medical marijuana to live a better or normal life, we encourage you to consider an online consultation. We have partnered with LeafWell to offer our readers $10 off of your first consultation using code MJE10 here.

Dr. Ellen Wiebe focuses her work on Abortions and Assisted Dying, procedures that she says are very similar in that they are basic human rights that people are denied access to.
Through her work and research she has done some incredible work for women and is globally renowned for killing off sexual health myths with science. A lot of her research involves cannabis - initially she wanted to find out if it could help with period pain and then medical abortions.
She then wanted to find out if cannabis really enhances sexual pleasure.
We interviewed her about her studies and experiences in the medical field.
